  what`s wrong with american politics ?.

  96% of american people who got off there arse to vote, chose hillary clinton to be president of the united states of america over donald trump.. and the electoral college overode the will of the majority of the people who bothered to vote , and gave the office of president to donald trump who was the 2nd choice, an also ran , of the will of the people.. it`s a furphy to say that some larger blue/red states can dictate to smaller red/blue states or vice versa to rig the elections ,simply because people can, and do change there preferences in any one state whether it be traditionally red or blue.. both democrats and republicans are both guilty and responsible for the gerrymander that is the electoral college.. there i`ve said it ,.

  nobody else seems to be able to say it how it is ,.

  Political parties. Ask a question and if an answer is given (lots of dancing around really saying anything) it is the party line. I want a representative who will address my wants and needs, while being aware of needs others have so as to not trample on them.

  Have one party who wants nothing but more taxes and control; the other wants to make everything private money. Medical care? Free? Or anything you can afford? No in between

  in a recent effort to entice me back to meetings, an elder friend gave me the example of his dad.. he said that his pioneer/elder/ex-missionary dad went through the anticipation and disappointment of 1975 and yet, he kept going faithfully for decades afterwards.

  the obvious point was that, if his dad can deal with disappointment, then, surely a nobody like me could do the same in regards to the scrapping of the 1914 generation doctrine, and all the other changes.

  his 'encouragement' was to tell me that it was only me that felt like this, everyone else is fine and have no problems with the changes.

  1975 was supposed to be year 6000 of the 7th creative day. So the 1000 year reign HAD to start then to maintain the time table.

  I Think a lot of it is habit, along with social networks.

  this topic is to focus on status updates & advice (no opinion or politics please).. status.

  latest status is that it's serious, probably isn't going to be contained and most large companies are making contingency plans, cancelling large events etc... which i don't think would happen if it was just people being alarmist.

  the incubation period means it may have already spread further and infected many more people than are currently known, so expect jumps in the numbers over the coming days and weeks.. tracking.

  Some of us have family in hospital jobs. We know there is covid, also hear of the missteps that happen. People are avoiding doctors because there is the restriction and the hoops to jump through.

  Where I live the cases are going up. We are not told what test is used, ages, co morbidity,; one TV station did mention that the number of deaths are those who have covid but died from something else it, .

  anyone know or hear of what will be changed for 2020 due to the pandemic?

  even my pimi family (i am pimo) is scratching their heads wondering why we are still reviewing content from 2017-2019 that talk about all the future plans, field service, etc etc etc....that have all been derailed due to covid-19.

  Your dad may be able to tell your mother you will stay home depending in his views and your mothers a actual views on headship.

  Not wanting to live with someone is not wrong, there are good reasons for marriage first.

  You will get through this, remenber suicide us a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Find someone you can confide in, health providers, friends, workmates. Be aware that non professionals are limited in wisdom. For that matter professional s too
